Advanced lab Testing
Vespera Wellness & Aesthetics
is intentionally designed to evolve beyond traditional aesthetic medicine, expanding into a model where advanced diagnostics and functional medicine principles inform a deeper understanding of the connection between internal physiology and outward appearance.
Many wellness and aesthetic concerns often reflect underlying physiologic imbalance.
Stop Guessing. Start Looking.
Sometimes symptoms are clues.
Fatigue.
Changes in weight.
Hair loss.
Skin changes.
Poor recovery.
Changes in sleep.
Changes in energy.
Changes in menstrual cycles.
Changes in how you feel.
Those symptoms don't automatically tell us the cause.
That’s where lab testing comes in.
Vespera offers advanced laboratory testing through Access Labs, allowing us to select blood, saliva, and urine testing based on your history, symptoms, and goals.
Testing isn't about ordering everything simply because we can.
It's about asking a clinical question and choosing the labs that can help us answer it.
What can we test?
* ADVANCED HORMONES
Hormone testing may evaluate markers related to:
Testosterone
Estradiol
Progesterone
DHEA-S
Sex hormone-binding globulin
LH
FSH
Thyroid function
Cortisol
IGF-1
Additional metabolic and health markers
Comprehensive male and female panels are available.
Depending on the panel, testing may also include CBC, metabolic markers, lipids, ferritin, vitamin D, A1C, inflammatory markers, and other biomarkers.
Great for: Hormonal changes • Menopause/perimenopause evaluation • Energy • Metabolic health • Treatment monitoring • General wellness
* WELLNESS + FUNCTIONAL HEALTH
Sometimes you need to start with the basics.
Wellness panels can evaluate foundational markers such as:
Complete blood count
Electrolytes
Kidney and liver markers
Blood glucose
Lipids
Thyroid function
Hemoglobin A1C
Vitamin D
High-sensitivity CRP
Additional biomarkers depending on the panel
These tests can help establish a baseline and identify areas that may warrant additional evaluation.
* HEART HEALTH
Advanced cardiovascular testing can go beyond a standard cholesterol panel.
Available testing may evaluate:
Standard lipid markers
Lipoprotein particles
Inflammatory biomarkers
Metabolic risk markers
Additional cardiovascular biomarkers
Testing is selected according to your history and risk profile.
* WEIGHT + METABOLIC HEALTH
Weight isn't simply about willpower.
Advanced testing can help evaluate biomarkers associated with:
Glucose regulation
Insulin and metabolic health
Thyroid function
Hormones
Lipids
Inflammation
Nutritional status
Other contributors to weight and metabolic health
The goal is to understand the bigger picture before deciding what treatment makes sense.
* FOOD SENSITIVITY | IgG
Access Labs offers IgG food-sensitivity testing across a large panel of food antigens.
Important Vespera Note
IgG food testing is not the same thing as diagnosing a true food allergy.
Results need to be interpreted carefully and in context with your symptoms, medical history, and other clinical findings.
I don't want a lab report convincing you that you're suddenly “allergic” to half your kitchen.
Data only becomes useful when we interpret it correctly.
* ENVIORNMENTAL + FOOD ALLERGY | IgE
IgE testing evaluates immune sensitization to numerous environmental and food allergens.
This may include allergens associated with:
Foods
Trees
Grasses
Weeds
Dust mites
Animals
Molds
Other environmental exposures
Unlike an IgG food-sensitivity panel, IgE testing is used in the evaluation of allergic sensitization.
Results still need to be interpreted alongside your clinical history.
* TOXIC + NUTRITIONAL METALS
Urine testing is available to evaluate selected toxic and nutritional metals.
Access Labs currently offers testing covering multiple toxic metals and nutritional elements.
Testing may be considered when there is an appropriate history, exposure concern, or clinical indication.
* STD TESTING
Confidential sexually transmitted infection testing is available.
The appropriate panel depends on:
Exposure
Symptoms
Timing
Sexual history
Previous testing
Individual risk
If an exposure occurred recently, timing matters because not every infection becomes detectable immediately.
* QUANTIFERON-TB GOLD PLUS
Blood-based tuberculosis screening is available through Access Labs.
This test evaluates the immune system's response to tuberculosis antigens and may be useful for:
Employment
Healthcare workers
School requirements
Clinical screening
Other situations requiring TB testing
* CANCER-RELATED TESTING
Access Labs offers panels containing selected tumor markers associated with several types of cancer.
Important:
Tumor markers are not universal cancer-screening tests, and an abnormal result does not automatically mean cancer is present.
These tests should only be ordered and interpreted in an appropriate clinical context and do not replace guideline-recommended cancer screening, imaging, biopsy, or specialist evaluation.
* TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY-RELATED TESTING
Access Labs also offers specialized testing designed to evaluate hormonal and other abnormalities that may occur following traumatic brain injury.
Testing is selected based on your history, symptoms, and clinical indication.
THE VESPERA APPROACH TO LABS
I don't believe in ordering a giant panel, highlighting everything that's one point outside the reference range, and selling you a supplement for every red number.
Labs are information.
They help us put pieces of the puzzle together.
Your numbers need to be interpreted alongside:
Your symptoms + your history + your medications + your lifestyle + your physical health + your goals.
Sometimes the answer is peptide therapy.
Sometimes it's correcting a deficiency.
Sometimes it's nutrition.
Sometimes it's hormones.
Sometimes it's lifestyle.
Sometimes your results tell me that you need to see another healthcare provider or specialist.
And sometimes your labs are reassuringly normal.
The goal isn't to find something wrong with you.
The goal is to understand what's happening beneath the surface.
That's wellness at Vespera.
